I think because we keep holding on to the hope that the person we fell in love with, and all the wonderful things about them, will come back to us. I think that’s why we stay, after the fights, after all the ugliness comes out, after hurt upon hurt. We are hoping and wishing for our loves to come back to us.

I want to sleep with you, in the most innocent sense of the phrase. I don’t know, I guess something about being able to synchronize our breathing to our own heartbeats really attracts me to the idea. I’d love to fall asleep to the sound of your voice and the smell of your hair. If I had my way, we’d cuddle and tell each other childhood stories before finally falling into a silent bliss. I want to sleep with you because I want to see if you snore, and if you do, I’ll tease you about it for the rest of our lives together. I want to be able to wake you up with a dozen kisses, just to stare into your eyes and silently communicate to you just how much I love you, because I just can’t find the words. Look forward to waking up to the smell of pancakes and pure sunshine, but don’t go anywhere. Yes that’s right, I’m cooking you breakfast in bed.

Hey, well I guess theres not much to say except I hope you’re happy. I hope you got through school in the end, hope you learnt to believe in yourself.

Never look back, the past is gone, even now I know I can’t go back. Even if it hurts just walk away. Maybe family lifes more simple now, maybe everyones happy, if they all are I am so very fucking glad because thats all I ever want.

And if dads family still don’t care, well fuck them, they ain’t worth the pain of rejection.

As for dad, well I hope you can watch videos and see pictures without wanting to vomit. I hope you made peace with it all, I hope you allowed yourself to grieve in the end.

Never let the past define you. The futures all that matters now
